After months of incremental decline, job ads recorded a larger decline of 5.0% in October. The decline was led by falling job ad numbers in Victoria and New South Wales, occurring in all but three industries.
Hospitality & Tourism recorded the greatest drop in ad volume, likely due to inflation and the rising cost of living continuing to put pressure on businesses.
